Beach & Boating

Would you like to moor a boat in Manhasset Bay off of our beach property? The PFMC offers mooring for $600 per year. This fee includes seasonal mooring maintenance and weekend launch service. Please contact the mooring chairman at for more information.

All kayaks and dinghies must have the owners’ last name and PF&M clearly written, both sides, on the bow of their boat.


  1. The Club’s beach facilities are for the exclusive use by Beach & Tennis Members, Seasonal Guest Members, and their immediate families and guests. Guests will not be permitted use of the beach or Club property unless accompanied by a member.
  2. Members' children under the age of 18 may bring a maximum of 3 guests to use the beach facilities
  3. Swimming at the beach is unsupervised by the Club and any person who does swim does so at their own risk
  4. Members are responsible for the conduct of their children
  5. An adult member must accompany children under the age of fourteen (14).
  6. Use of all Club facilities is at your own risk.
  7. Climbing of all perimeter fences is prohibited.
  8. With the exception of members who are boating, the official closing time of the beach is 9 p.m.

*Beginning November 1, 2009, New York State Navigation Law states: No owner or operator of a pleasure vessel less than twenty-one feet, including rowboats, canoes, and kayaks shall permit its operation, between November first and May first, unless each person on board such vessel is wearing a securely fastened United States Coast Guard approved wearable personal flotation device of an appropriate size when such vessel is underway. Failure to wear a lifejacket on such vessels will be considered a violation under Section 73-c if the Navigation Law and is punishable by a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $250, applicable to either the operator and/or the owner of the vessel.
